What should I take with me for accreditation?
A: For the accreditation please take your customer card (you will get it in time) with you, as well as a valid ID as proof of your identity and the ability to drive a motorcycle.
What's in the all inclusive offer?
A: Your place in a box, your transponder, the permanent instructor's box, free ride, races & qualifyings, awards, your BBQ base package (1 plate of BBQ), AND we don't add any payment-fees!
Is it possible to arrive at the paddock one day early?
A: Yes, our Team will be there the evening before the event to prepare everything for the upcoming event, start with accreditation and assign the box spaces. PLEASE NOTE: Since the paddock is usually occupied by the previous hosts until 6 pm, it is recommended not to arrive before 6 pm (please have a look at the event's schedule).
Is the BBQ free the whole day?
A: Generally, at 2 day events there's always a BBQ on day 1 (evening) and at 3 day events on day 1 & day 2 (both in the evening). The BBQ base package (1 plate of BBQ) is already included in the price. At events marked with the “food” symbol, a whole day TrackAttack Club will be available (that is breakfast, lunch and BBQ in the evening).
Are there dishes for vegetarians?
A: Yes, we always have a vegetarian dish ready.
Can companions join the racers dinner?
A: Your companions can gladly join – for a certain price, there's food for every non-driver ;) For as long as supplies last.
Is it possible to buy half a day?
When buying an event through the TrackAttack homepage, is it necessary to pay right away or can it be paid later?
A: currently you can buy directly (you will receive the confirmation right away!). We're working on a solution to make a binding reservation and pay later.
BOX / PIT
Are there pit spaces for everybody without extra cost?
A: Yes! Your pit space is already included in the ticket (first come, first serve). Teams/groups tell us their team name during booking so we can assign the boxes as best as possible. PLEAS NOTE: Every racetrack has a different number and size of boxes. Accordingly different numbers of people are assigned to the boxes.
How do I disclose what box I want to be in?
A: Please disclose your wish during booking (there's a typing space for it). We endeavor to consider your wish.
What do I need to wear?
A: Full leather (one piece recommended, two piece), back protector, full visor helmet, moorcycle boots and leather gloves.
Is fabric clothing with a back protector enough?
Is it possible to bring friends as spectators? If yes, do they have to pay?
A: Yes, your companions are welcome and don't have to pay for entrance. They can even join the BBQ in the evening for a certain price.
Is it possible to bring children or pets to the racetrack?
A: Basically yes. Please note, that a racetrack (including the pit lane, the paddock, etc.) is not a suitable place for children or pets. You take full responsibility for them. Dogs are only permitted with leash and muzzle.
CONFIRMATION OF PARTICIPATION
Will you send me a ticket or the like, as a confirmation of participation and payment?
A: You will get an e-mail with a payment confirmation, which is also a confirmation of participation after the booking/payment process – you should take it with you to the racetrack just to be sure. Your data is, in any case, stored in our system, and with the customer card we send you and an ID, you can accredit yourself on the racetrack.
Is it possible to participate at DDC days with a different brand motorcycle?
A: Yes of course! DDC days are normal dates, with the difference, that on these dates an additional race for the Ducati drivers takes place .
Is it possible to participate in a DDC race with a non-Ducati bike?
A: Only Ducatis are permitted in DDC races.
Is it possible to stay one more night at the paddock after the event?
A: Usually not – it depends on the racetrack and its schedule for the next day. Better not count on it!
Start number desired – how do I notify you?
A: Please disclose your number wish during booking (in the corresponding typing space). We endeavor to consider it.
A: For 10 people (or 10 bookings) or more, it's possible to agree upon group conditions (you don't have to be an “organisation” like, for instance, a club or association).
Can teams have their own box?
A: generally yes, but it depends on the number of drivers, the booking situation as well as the racetrack. Each racetrack has a different number and size of boxes. Therefor different numbers of bikes fit in them.
What happens in technical acceptance?
A: Technical acceptance serves as an aid and orientation. Of course you know your vehicle and its properties the best. Technical acceptance checks whether your motorcycle is appropriate for driving on the racetrack (nonetheless you alone are responsible for your vehicle!!!). SUPER SERVICE: The mechanics visit your box, to check your motorcycles! NOTE: Without technical acceptance, driving on the racetrack is disallowed.
Does the Motorcycle need to be prepared in any way for technical acceptance?
A: Yes. Anything that can shatter (mirrors, etc.) has to be taped or removed. Lights (also tape the brake light). Thick enough brake linings (new ones are always better!). Screws and small parts have to be fastened. No irreversible changes in the vehicle are necessary.
When does technical acceptance take place?
A: Technical acceptance is possible all day on all track days.
Am I obligated to use a transponder? And if I have my own?
A: Yes, transponders are an obligation – through time measurement we can divide all drivers into appropriate experience groups (for more fun and safety). If you have your own transponder, take it with you to the accreditation. We can give you a coupon amounting to a minimum of € 0.-- up to € 10.-- (the amount depends on the racetrack – we have to pay a “penalty” fee at some racetracks, amongst other things). NOTE: You are are responsible for the compatibility of your transponder!
Why can't I just use my own lap timer or the like?
A: Our team has to measure the lap time of each participant themselves, in order to be able to regroup you and other drivers.
Will I get a time print after the event?
A: Yes, at time measurement you can ask for printouts of your lap times.
Where do I find the time table?
A: The time table will be ready for download (at the corresponding event) in time and will also be sent via newsletter.
Are there tires etc. for sale on site?
A: Yes, there is a tire service, which also conducts technical acceptance. It generally always has tires and accessories for you.
What tires can be bought at the tire service?
A: generally Pirelli, Bridgestone and Dunlop.
WHEATHER WARRANTY (WHEATHER GUARANTEE)
What does Wheather Warranty mean?
A: Wheather Warranty dates are such dates, that are beyond the typical season (May-September). Should the wheather prediction be inappropriate (snow, ice,...), the date will be cancelled in time, in accordance with our agreement with the racetrack. You will get a 100% compensation in the form of a credit voucher for an upcoming TrackAttack event of your choice.
Does every racetrack have an internet connection?
A: Generally every racetrack provides an internet connection.
